Absolute Machine Tools will demonstrate two LICO machines at IMTS 2018 – a CNC screw machine and a mill/turn center – in booth S-338536. The LICO LNTS line of multi-slide screw machines can outperform even cam automatics.
8-axis, 32mm Nexturn Swiss-Type Lathe with Exchangeable Guide Bushing in Action at IMTS 2018 Booth S-338536
The Nexturn SA-32PYII Swiss lathe is a 32mm machine that comes standard with an exchangeable rotary synchronous guide bushing and will be demonstrated at IMTS 2018 in Absolute Machine Tool’s booth S-338536. This new model allows changeover from guide bushing to non-guide bushing depending on the application and material. Changing to non-guide bushing mode allows for the use of less expensive non-ground material and greatly reduces remnant length, saving material costs.
7-axis, 20mm Nexturn Swiss-Type Lathe at IMTS 2018 Booth S-338536
The Nexturn SA-20B Swiss lathe is a 20mm machine with a rotary synchronous guide bushing and will be in action at IMTS 2018 in Absolute Machine Tool’s booth S-338536. It features up to 7 otal axes (Z1, X1, Y, Z2, X2, C1, C2) and up to 22 total tools. Machining capacity is 20mm on the main and sub-spindle, and 210mm (8”) maximum turning length. The SA-20B is available packaged with a 12’ magazine barfeeder, providing excellent overall value in a 20mm Swiss machine.
