The AccuteX GE Wire EDM Machines
These machines feature automatic wire threading, providing fast submerged rethreading when at the breaking point. After breakage, rethreading does not require dielectric drainage or refilling, making the spark-to-spark times as low as 15 seconds. The AccuteX GE Wire EDM machines also including an air-driven wire removal system exists to quickly dispose of any length waste wire.

Capable of 33.5in2/hr cutting speeds with a 0.012” high-speed wire, the accuracy of these machines is truly a sight to behold. Repeatability and surface finished are enhanced while the probability of wire breakage is decreased with this combination. Maximum performance in water flushing conditions and the changing of workpiece thickness is possible thanks to innovative engineering.
These machines also feature a digital AC power supply, which helps to facilitate electrolysis-free machining and high speed. The controller itself features Automatic Corner Control which analyzes wire diameter, cutting data, cutting angle and workpiece thickness. This allows the machine to automatically determine the best corner cutting parameters, maximizing performance.
The 6-axis controller comes with Z-axis positioning as well as 5-axis simultaneous interpolation, allowing the processing of “turn and burn” application. And, of course, a rotary table designed in-house with the controller can be used with both horizontal and vertical applications.
