New Regional Sales Manager for Absolute Machine Tools

Absolute Machine Tools is proud to announce Alex Churbock as our new Regional Sales Manager for Southern and Western United States. He replaces Bruce Cates, who had been with our company for nearly 18 years.

Alex’s career in the machine tool business started when he became an intern machinist at Cage Gear & Machine in Canton, Ohio, in 2013. In 2014, he was hired by Chinese machine tool OEM Neway CNC-USA, Stafford, Texas, as a Sales Engineer. There he was promoted to National Sales Manager in 2015. Upon taking on the national sales role, he increased machine tool units from approximately 12 machines to nearly 90 machines and grew distribution from 5 to 25 distributors nationwide.

For the first order of business in his new role with Absolute, Alex plans to contact all our distributors who used to work with Bruce Cates to introduce himself and get acquainted with current projects and future needs.
