Join Us At PMTS For A Live Floor Show Demo On LICO Machines
Absolute Machine Tools invites everyone to join us at PMTS 2017 for a live 30-minute floor show demo on two LICO multi-slide screw machines! The floor show demo will be Tuesday, April 25 at 1:30 p.m. at Booth #725.
The demonstration of LICO’s LNTS and LNDD series screw machines is open to everyone in attendance at the show and will also be broadcasted on two 55” TVs in our booth for easier viewing.
During the demo, we will be machining typical screw machine parts that all in attendance will be able to relate to, with a sampling of the following processes:
Both machines will be running near maximum capacity material. The 42mm LNTS will be running 1-5/8” (41.3mm) brass stock. The LNDD is running 2.5” (63.5mm) brass stock, and the demo will allow attendees to see first-hand its Y-Axis capabilities that allow the user to drill more than one hole in a workpiece.
About the LNTS and LNDD Series

The LNTS Series is a ruggedly built machine capable of form tool use, with each slide having a full 2-axis servo-controlled travel. The LNTS, with 3 or 4 multi-slides and an 8-position turret, can overlap up to 5 tools at once. For medium to complex parts, it can match the speed of cam machines and comes standard with a turret-mounted pickoff spindle and gang platform supporting 3 backworking tools, with an optional, 8-position static backworking turret available.
The LNDD series is a powerful twin spindle multi-axis turn/mill center. This series comes standard with an independent counter spindle, two 2-axis cross slides around the main spindle, and an 8-position 2-axis VDI 30 turret that is double tooled for working main and counter spindles. The machine’s overlapping slides allow for maximizing productivity and size control. With live tooling for up to 16 tools on the turret, this machine can handle cross drilling, tapping, slotting, and basic complex 4-axis milling on the main and sub-spindle.
