In 1997, Absolute Machine Tools moved its headquarters from Elyria, Ohio to a newly built facility in Lorain, Ohio (pictured above). Today this location remains as the primary administrative center where key decisions are made daily. President and CEO, Steve Ortner, and Vice President of Sales, Klaus Miller direct all North American sales from this facility. Applications Engineering, Service and Parts are overseen here by managers Dave Zunis, Hayden Wellman, and Jason Bartosch respectfully. In 2021, the company finished a substantial addition to accommodate machine tool spare parts inventory. Today, this addition, plus inventory held at our other technical centers house nearly $20M in spare parts ranging from today’s current models all the way back to machines built in the late 1980’s.

Visible from I-71 in Mason, Ohio, our Mason Technical Facility on Innovation Way is sprawling with 42,000 square feet of showroom, parts inventory, service, applications engineering and automation support. Mason is home to our Wire EDM department and our A+ Automation Team. This location is perfectly situated next door to FANUC Robotics.

Established in the early 2000’s, Absolute Machine Tools’ Livonia Technical Center has been servicing states that are contiguous to the Great Lakes including Michigan and the Upper Peninsula, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Ontario, Canada. The Livonia location includes sales, service, parts, and applications engineering, plus a variety of CNC machine tools on display.
