Tongtai TMS Series mill/turn machines are available in 4 different models, each available in 3 different configurations with up to 9 total axes. They will be in action at IMTS 2018 in Absolute Machine Tool’s booth S-338536. The standard TMS machine has a programmable tailstock. The TMS-S has a sub-spindle in place of the tailstock, and the TMS-ST features both a sub-spindle and a lower turning turret. Maximum turning diameter for the machines is 25.98″ (660 mm) with bed lengths up to 80” (2000mm).

The You Ji VTL-1200ATC+C is a 49” table / 63” swing vertical turning lathe with full C-axis and live milling for heavy duty turning and milling of large sized workpieces. On display at IMTS 2018 in booth S-338536 by Absolute Machine Tools Inc., this heavy-duty, highly productive VTL weighs in at 72,600 lbs. and features a rigid vertical column and a Meehanite castings base which is heavily ribbed for reduced thermal distortion and vibration dampening. The machine has a symmetrical base and column design. It is designed for stand-alone applications or easy integration into production lines. The machine, which is suitable for industries such as aerospace, oil-field, and energy, can be customized to meet virtually any production requirement.

The compact, high-precision Quicktech S-32 ATM 9-axis twin spindle mill/turn center combines integral-motor main- and sub-spindles with a 190° B-axis milling head and a fast automatic toolchanger to maximize output of small, complex parts.

Absolute Machine Tools, Inc., now the exclusive U.S. importer and distributor of EDM machines and supplies from Yougar M&T, Inc., has introduced the Yougar YGS CNC Moving Head series and YGS ZNC Manual series of EDM drilling machines.

Absolute Machine Tools has hired Jeff Sturtevant as General Manager of its Mason Technical Center in Mason, Ohio. He will oversee all sales and operations for southern Ohio and Indiana and the state of Kentucky.

The T8 Hybrid 9-axis twin spindle mill/turn center from Quicktech combines a 3-axis power turret and a 360˚ B-axis with a sub-spindle that features a 4-axis gang slide to enable complete machining of complex parts with a capacity of 38 tools.

Quicktech i-42 ROBO and i-60 ROBO 4-axis mill/turn centers feature integrated 6-axis Mitsubishi robots for fast, automated loading and unloading of medium-diameter (i42: 42mm/1.68″, i60: 60mm/2.36″) bar stock. In addition to carrying out highly productive turning, the machines can perform complex milling with standard live tools.

Absolute Machine Tools has named Alex Churbock as regional sales manager for the Western and Southern United States.

The i-42 Ultimate and i-60 Ultimate high-production CNC turning centers from Quicktech permit complete machining, including complex milling operations, of medium-diameter bar stock. With two turning spindles, two milling spindles and two B-axes, the machines provide a total of 10 axes and capacity for up to 49 tools. Quicktech machines are distributed in North America exclusively by Absolute Machine Tools.

Absolute Machine Tools will demonstrate two LICO screw machines at PMTS in Columbus, Ohio April 25 – 27. One of the machines represents LICO’s LNT line of multi-slide screw machines.
