Absolute Machine Tools Earns Diamond Partner Status from Mitsubishi Electric Automation
Absolute Machine Tools Inc. is proud to have earned the title of Diamond Partner Systems Integrator from Mitsubishi Electric Automation Inc. As an affiliate of the global manufacturer Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Electric Automation focuses on production solutions. The partnership is expected to expand opportunities for and bring value to both companies.
Collaboration on LoadMate Plus™ Machine Tending Robotic Cell
Absolute Machine Tools is not only a top Diamond Partner of Mitsubishi Electric Automation but a partner as well. The two companies teamed up together to design and manufacture the LoadMate Plus™ Machine Tending Robotic Cell that was exhibited LIVE at Automate 2022. At Automate 2022, Absolute and the Mitsubishi Teams integrated the LoadMate Plus™ with the Seiki KT-420L Mill/Drill/Tap Center. This simple and affordable automation cell was the only automation cell at Automate 2022 that was in “real manufacturing” mode cutting chips and loading steel blanks.
What Is a Diamond Plus Partner?

- A complete software suite for PLC, motion, HMI, VFD, and robot with automatic updates
- A support team for product training and technical resources
“Our ongoing contribution to Mitsubishi projects as well as our current and past automation projects were part of our qualifications,” said Absolute Machine Tools Director of Marketing and A+ Automation Team Leader Courtney Ortner.
The Absolute A+ Automation Team
Ortner created the A+ Automation Team in response to the growing need for automation and to help manufacturers find the best solutions to meet their production requirements. “COVID-19 pushed manufacturers to think even more seriously about automating their processes to remain competitive in an ever-evolving global economy and to fill the voids left by the virus and the lack of skilled labor,” she explained.
Ortner added, “This achievement is just one more step in giving our customers the broader choices for automation. Being a Mitsubishi Diamond Partner means that Absolute can offer the most complete lines of automation products and solutions to the metal cutting industry.”
