May 9th marked an important day in the skilled trades community as SkillsUSA National Signing Day was celebrated across the nation. The event aimed to acknowledge, honor, and recognize high school seniors and college post-secondary students who have chosen to pursue a career in the skilled trades. At Absolute Machine Tools, we were thrilled to participate as a business partner and hire one of these talented students, Sam Wojciechowski, as a full-time employee after his graduation from Lorain County JVS.

These students have shown dedication, determination, and skill in their field and are poised to make a meaningful contribution to the industry. Welcoming Applications Engineering Intern Sam Wojciechowski to a Full-Time Position After Graduation
As a business partner, we recognize the importance of investing in future talent. Our applications engineering intern, Sam Wojciechowski, is a testament to the skill and dedication of these young professionals. Sam has been with Absolute Machine Tools since June 2022, and his passion for the industry and drive to learn and grow have been evident throughout his internship with us. We were impressed with his ability to work collaboratively with our team and his attention to detail in his work.
Sam is part of the Engineering Design and Technology program at Lorain County JVS, which is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in the field of engineering and technology. Through hands-on training and classroom instruction, students learn about the design process, engineering principles, CAD, and other manufacturing technology. The program offers a range of courses, including engineering graphics, computer-aided design and drafting, materials and processes, and robotics and automation. With Sam’s graduation coming up this spring, we were proud to offer him a full-time position at Absolute Machine Tools. We are thrilled to welcome Sam as a fellow employee-owner, and we look forward to seeing him develop his skills and contribute to the growth of our business.
