Submerged Rotary Tables for EDM Hole Drilling Machines

The RT-115ABR and RT-115B fully submersible rotary tables are specifically designed to operate underwater in dielectric fluid, water, or coolant. The main base is constructed of stainless steel to resist corrosion and houses mounting points for securing the unit inside an EDM machine or vertical machining center. Ocean’s submerged rotary tables are built to withstand submerged conditions without vibration, and provide uniform erosion when drilling deep holes in conductive materials.

The submerged environment reduces thermal distortion and stabilizes cutting processes, while rotation of the part ensures even wear and better machining consistency. Heat-resistant alloys and exotic materials are perfect material types for submerged rotational drilling. Leak testing, rotational accuracy, torque, and backlash performance tests are performed on newly built units.
