Massive, Rigid Construction for Big Jobs

The DMC Series is designed for work that simply can’t be handled by conventional machines. The enormous cross rail casting can be extended up to 20 feet without sag or deformation, supporting extremely wide and heavy parts with consistent precision. A 48″-wide saddle enables Z-axis travels up to 60″, while massive columns support an optional full CNC W-axis with travels up to 2 meters for very tall components. These machines are poured in Johnford’s own foundry, with no compromise on iron, ensuring maximum vibration damping and long-lasting durability.
