Linear Motor Drive System:
The AL Series uses a direct-drive linear motor system that eliminates backlash and ensures smooth, friction-free motion. Because of the linear shaft motor design, the AL series can provide 10% faster servo response time than flat-type linear motors with no thermal distortion or friction. The linear shaft motor, HIWIN linear guideways, 0.000004” Fagor glass scales and 64 bit processing are joined together on the massive casting putting the AL Series in a class of its own. This advanced technology provides higher cutting stability, enhanced accuracy, and longer-lasting performance compared to traditional ball-screw systems.
High-Speed, Multi-Cut Capabilities:
With multi-pass cutting strategies, the AL Series delivers superior surface finishes and dimensional accuracy. The machine offers a world-renown patented automatic wire threader (AWT) for efficient unmanned operations.
CNC Control:
The AL Series is equipped with the latest Accutex64 bit Windows CE based CNC control, including 17″ color touch screen and 1GB SD RAM. The CNC control offers DIRECT Precise Motion Control allowing the servo response path to follow the program precisely. Its user-friendly import/export feature transfers files via USB memory key, LAN network and RS232 connections. The controller can remotely access NC code with built-in FTP function enhancing efficient file management. For select cutting conditions, the controller generates the appropriate setting from its database. All parameters are automatically integrated in the NC program, making the NC code portable and easy to use. The system features intelligent cutting parameters, simplifying programming and ensuring consistent results, even for less experienced operators.
Precision with Reduced Wire Consumption:
Accutex’s Smart AWT system minimizes wire consumption and enhances efficiency, significantly lowering operating costs without compromising accuracy. Its patented Annealing Function for rethreading wire includes an AC servo tension wheel that can operate in reverse when the wire breaks. The wire-end needle-shaping feature cuts the wire off electrically, while annealing heat treatment strengthens the wire at the breakpoint for consistent reliable threading.
