Smaller Footprint & Faster Machining
There really aren’t many machines in the QuickTECH’s class. The QuickTECH line competes with twin turret machines whose footprint much larger, and most 2-3 turret machines still cannot hold 49 tools like the Ultimate can.
With the Ultimate, the main spindle tool post features 6 O.D. and 5 I.D. turning tools plus 12 live tools mounted in a continuous 360° B axis. The sub spindle tool post features 5 O.D. and 9 I.D. turning tools plus 12 live tools which are mounted in a continuous 360° B axis.
The QuickTECH Ultimate is built with Gang-style tooling, which can hold more tools in the machines and provides for faster production. This gang-style tooling saves you money because you don’t have to buy a “tool-changer” style machine, which also gets expensive and enlarges the footprint of a machine as well.
QuickTECH Ultimate machines are offered in 42mm and 60mm bar capacities. The sub-spindle has 30mm bar capacity on both models.
