You Ji VLS Series – Vertical Turret Lathes with 12-Tool Automatic Tool Changers
The You Ji VLS Series vertical turning lathes is competitively priced and engineered for precision machining of large-diameter heavy workpieces for use in industries such as aerospace, energy, oil and gas, marine, and heavy equipment manufacturing. Constructed with Meehanite cast iron and box ways, the VLS offers exceptional rigidity and vibration dampening, which is critical for achieving high accuracy over prolonged cutting processes. The heavy-duty construction also assists in prolonged tool life during heavy cutting. The vertical column and cross rail are engineered to withstand both radial and axial cutting forces, maintaining precision across the entire machining envelope.
The VLS series comes in both single or twin ram head designs, and can be customized to meet a particular application. Optional C-axis and live tooling enables milling, drilling, and tapping in a single setup. Automatic tool changers are available in both turret or magazine-type. High torque spindle motors allow heavy roughing and deep cutting at low spindle speeds making the machine ideal for hard metals and high volume stock removal. You Ji offers customization to fit specific applications—from table sizes and spindle power to automation integration. These machines can be tailored for turnkey solutions, including robotic loading/unloading and process monitoring.
