Yougar EDM Drills

Yougar was established in Korea in 1999 with a focus on supplying numerous kinds of EDM consumables for brands such as Mitsubishi, FANUC, Agie Charmilles, Sodick and many others. From 2002 – 2006, Yougar developed supplies for the abrasive industry, cutting tools, and mold-welder machines. Then in 2008, Yougar manufactured its first small hole driller in a table-type design for small and diverse parts. In 2015, Yougar began to distribute a moving head-type EDM drill for large and heavy parts primarily for the aerospace industry.  Today Yougar builds up to 8-axis EDM drills in both submerged and flushing type designs that can drill in both oil or water with a drilling range of 0.1 – 6.0 millimeters.

Yougar’s YGS CNC Moving Head Series is a fully controlled CNC EDM drilling machine with a moving head design that ensures superior smoothness of motion and stability when compared to fixed-head moving table style EDM drills. The AGC (automatic guide changer) easily enables automatic drilling of holes with different depths.  A large touchscreen panel on the PC allows the operator to either manually enter drilling positions or easily import them from a DXF or wire EDM program file stored on an external source. Common interfaces for data transfer such as USB or TCP/IP come standard. The YGS CNC Series machines are capable of up to 8 fully programmable axes, tilting head ±45°, supports diverse rotary table manufacturers, and includes multi-lingual operations making it an excellent choice for any manufacturing application no matter how complex.

Yougar’s YGS ZNC Series is an economical high speed EDM drilling machine that gets the simple job of “Start Hole” drilling done fast and efficiently with a size range of 0.1 – 3.0 mm (0.004″ – 0.118″) electrodes. With a 10um extended life filter, resistivity sensor and ION exchange resin, the YGS Series provides smooth reliable machining over long periods of time.
